wishing to escape, but wanting to complete
She resigns herself to her fate - death.
As the narcotic
takes effect, she forsees the spiritual life.
Going to sleep and preparing
to die, she offers her spirit to the gods.
Returning to the Lyre to die, serenely
playing the last notes,
she embraces death; ending as she enters the afterlife,
with a smile
