The Ballet

The Lyre player enters, reluctant to go into the chamber knowing of her impending death.

She resigns herself to her fate - death.

She looks for help

Reaching further out seeking anyone who will help,

The story told by the Ballet

Pleading to the sky.
The Lyre player enters, reluctant to go into the chamber knowing of her impending death.
She looks for help, fighting to escape, searching for an exit somewhere.
She refuses to die, accepting and denying her fate
She searches again for a space, an exit in the walls.
She doesn’t want to die, and reaches out for help,
Reaching further out seeking anyone who will help,
Pleading to the sky.
The music gives her a sense of calm
She finds hope and courage, as the internal conflict takes over,
wishing to escape, but wanting to complete her destiny,
She resigns herself to her fate - death.
As the narcotic takes effect, she forsees the spiritual life.
Going to sleep and preparing to die, she offers her spirit to the gods.
Returning to the Lyre to die, serenely playing the last notes,
she embraces death; ending as she enters the afterlife, with a smile
